It sounds great on my car, i don't care if i lose a couple of hp. the filter seems pretty secure like that. The car does seem a little more responsive like that. maybe it doesn't add hp, but is it possible that it changes to torque curve?

I wouldn't put down money on it, but I am pretty sure it does change the torque.

I did I already had the K&N filter but did not have the Mas adapter plate. I'm a stingy bastard so I did not want to pay for it. I waited till I had a plate idea.

3 weeks ago I did have they idea I was waiting for. I cuted a 5/8 particle board and slammed the cone filter on. Nice improvement. Lost quite some torque in first gear though
