Question for all.... i am seriously thinking about adding the RRM exhaust as the next mod on my list... mostly in part to JAKE's sound clip, i'm impressed on the lack of riceyness, but i have 3 kids and need to know, how much sound does this exhaust mod allow into the passenger compartment around 3-3.5k rpms? I had a mustang before this highly modified and the oldest use to hold her ears the whole time in the car and complain... i dont want to go through that again~!

in the cvt tranny, when you accelerate the deep tone tends to get loud, but not ricey loud, just deep... then when i get into my cruzing speeds say 50mph you barely hear it. unless you will drive 50mph in 3rd gear.. since u have a 5 sp shift it to 5 th gear and u will be set...

im always cruising in the most fuel efficient gear possible, i just wanted to make sure that when i am accelerating under normal load the sound internally wouldnt be overbearing... from what you say it sounds perfect

it sounds nice and deep at idle and slight throttle but its got this raspy sound at higher RPM. Am I just hearing this? I dont want any high end sound at all, just tone. Looking to get one of these soon

Just ordered mine right now, can't wait for it to come in.

So seeing as I am too lazy to lay underneath the car and figure out what the heck you guys are talking about, let me see if I can get this strait. The old exhaust is huge and needs two hangers to hang it up, once you install the new one you need to take the rubber mount from the DS and move it to the PS of the car and remove the PS one if you ever need to put the stock one back on, then bolt up the exhaust?

I too am hoping that at highway speeds it is not loud.

Thanks to RRM

ok here is what you do, the stock muffler actually hangs on 3 hooks. take them off.. now after you bolt up the RRm exhaust you will be with WTF what does this hook too? then you will take the rubber hook fro the DS and move it to the PS. then you have to scretch the rubber hook closest to the axle and twist it slightly to hook it up.. the rubber thingy from the DS moved to ps shoudl be fine..

It is nice and deep. I drive an 08 manual everyday. I can honestly say I am not bothered by noisewith it at all. 90% less Rice with RRM exhaust!
