Max RPM?

Anyone know what the max "safe" RPM is for the 4g94? Surely it's more than 6200...

Whatever your current fuel/air maps will allow for.

I've heard 6800 to 7000 is doable. What was the old RRM ECU set at?

Wrong, wrong, wrong and wrong.

I had 4g94 engine and 4g93 and I would take it to 6800 any day.

Now since I have high compression and 272 cam and turbo eclipse ecu, it's very easy to take it to 7500 rpm. NO PROBLEM.

Want to learn more about things like that, search mirage forums.

I don't think I'd want to run a 4G94 up that high without upgrading the rods. It might be perfectly safe but once you've seen the tiny rods it kinda shakes your faith in the motor.
