which headers
i bought the OBX - R header and cat delete and the header fit.... the cat delete didnt fit at all was a straight pipe wih the flanges the same way... hit cross member what a nightmare...... but the header is great i had a buddy weld the stock cat to the stainless cat delte pipe so it fit... but yeah becareful of ebay.......
yeah, but I think that was a known issue. Research is key
If my memory serves me right, the obx header was originaly designed for the Mirage which has a shorter downpipe. People were able to get around that problem on the Lancer using multiple gaskets between the header and downpipe flange, or some have gotten a welder to extend the downpipe. Same thing happened with the Turbo-kit.com kit.
So far, RPW is the only company would came out with a Header dyno sheet, and they are the only one using the design they are using. Althought, I think 1 other company came out with a very similar design a year or two ago, but I can't recall who it was. I think it may have been A2 Design, but I'm not sure.
2 or 3 years ago we had a member who went from RRM header to RPW header and said there was a good improvement in the power band.
