if installed properly u should have no problems, i have one on my RA, nothing wrong, and plenty of other owners have one from RRM, the only thing i have read is a squel that may happen after a while, but that is just normal wear on the belt

Im not "so" concerned about it but it is good to keep the warranty if you can. Also, if anything does happen, I can take off the pulley and put the OEM on. They wouldnt know, right?

^ Yes it does. Lighter rotational mass > faster rotation > rpms climb faster

50-50 chance. My understanding is that they'd kinda have to know what they were looking for. But it's hard to say without talking to a tech.

In the end, just remember that your motor might be fine. Everyone is overreacting and having kittens about their motor grenading tomorrow because of the pulley. This will not happen. The only concern is that over a LONG period of time, the motor could possibly wear down faster than it would without the pulley. As with any "performance" part, this is a choice you have to make: "stock & safe" or "modified & faster" . . .

Don't be shook. Wow Speedtech is here to bash our pulley? What about other pullies? What about turboing your car. You guys give more attention to a pulley on a car you prolly won't keep long enough to pay off. IF you were to have problems, IF, it would be way down the road. Meantime running the wrong fuel or oil will do worse damage to a motor, Not to mention all those AFC guys trying to tune their cars without knowledge or equipment (WIDEBAND etc...) It is quite a bias crowd. Keep your cars stock boys. Otherwise, if ou have a little faith or *****, get the pulley. This is quite lame really in the context of mods people do..... motor oil to turbos!

Not saying this mod will make you car blow up in 5000 miles. But a harmonic balancer is there to balance the stress on the crank shaft.. if the crank does ever break, cranks break in only two ways. On a 45 degree on the fillet (the curved part before the journal, or perpendicular to the journal.

Now a mitsu tech should know the difference between the two and should be able to figure out you had a diff pulley on it, whether he can prove it...probably not.

So far RRM makes good products for your car to go fast! bottom line. But I just don't like messing with the engine...exhaust and intake will probably come for me but as for a piggyback and other engine mods...im fine...I don't race it. Some others do.

This is my first new car and as a mechanic I know if you take care of it....it will last for a long long time...
