Know what Rob for the few geniuses in here that think they know everything and want to keep their car stock you have plenty more willing and waiting to buy your stuff. Pay them no mind. Every product I have bought from you guys works amazingly and worth every penny I spent. So don't worry you'll still have one customer here.

how come it was so easy for you guys? took you guys like 15m.. could it be that my engine is still TOO new? i have about 2800miles.. idk, just guessing. HELP

Hmmm, I thought you had sold this to Mark......

Anyways, you have to loosen it from the top. Raise the hood and use a long (12 inches or longer) 5/8 wrench. Place it on the tensioner bolt and turn counter-clock wise (towards the fire wall). While its pushed all the way back, have a friend slide the belt off.

At least thats how mine came off. Mark help me.

you can also do it from the bottom the the same wrench. It's the tensioner right above the pulley. It feels spring loaded but comes off in a snap. After that it's a breeze.

you sure its counter-clockwise? RRM directions say clockwise.

anyway, so if you loosen the bolt a bit on the tensioner, it should be easy for the belt to come off? cause i did loosen the tensioner and the belt was still tight.. ahhh

It is counter clockwise like he said. You if go clockwise you will loosen the bolt. You do not want to loosen the bolt. The whole pulley will move over a few inches when you push counter clockwise with the wrench. I was thrown off too, it took me about 45 minutes of monkeying around under there before I figured that out because i did not want to break anything.

hmm. cause i was turning it clockwise and it jst loosened the bolt, not the belt. how come in the directions it says clockwise ? well so i turn it counterclockwise, and it should feel like i'm overtightening it? .. but then the pulley should move over?

Yeah, the RRM directions are incorrect. I did the same thing, turned it clockwise, and the belt came off easily... because the whole tensioner pully fell off LOL. Anyway yeah, you gotta turn it counter clockwise and it will move the entire pulley. You can do it from underneath by yourself but it really is a *****. The spring on the tension pully is hella strong.
