ROAD/RACE- Pulley 2008 Lancer
I can tell you guy this, RRM's pulley is hands down made by a PRO. I am a CNC programmer/machinist and this pulley is a piece of art. RRM's out source CNC machinist is great and this is coming from a guy that has been doing this for 12 years. I am extremely impressed with the workman ship of these pulley. I hope to have it installed Saturday day and rippn some tarmac by Saturday night.
I have no idea why, because I know that I don't need mods to be happy, but I REALLY cannot wait until I can afford one of these.
Hopefully some positive reviews will start to roll in now that they're out to customers.

OK Pulley is installed and it most definitely has noticeable gains. Throttle response is the first and most apparent gain second is when the MIVEC kicks in the top RPM's move a lot quicker to 6K. So for $110 Bucks you get a lot. As for the install it was so easy there is no need for any pics. It took me all of 15 min to complete and RRM's instructions where straight to the point. But just to make you guys happy.
1. Buy an RRM pulley
2. You will need A long 5/8 box wrench, 22mm socket, flat head screw driver, and impact gun.
3. Jack up car and take off PS rim.
4. Take flat head screw driver and pop of the 8 little snap buttons that hold the splash guard on and remove guard.
5. Take 5/8 box wrench and put it on the belt idler pulley just above crank pulley and twist it clock wise and take the belt off of the crank pulley.
6. Use the 22mm socket and impact gun remove stock pulley slide on the new RRM pulley and bolt back on.
7. Twist the idler pulley back clockwise and slide the belt onto RRM pulley.
8. Check to make sure belt is safely back onto all pulleys and then start car watch the belt to make sure it it in working properly.
9. Turn car off and put splash guard then rim back on and you are set.
10. Fill car up with 91 octane then burn some rubber.

for someone who doesn't have an impact this will be a little bit tedious.
Take the serpentine belt, and wrap it around the pulley, get a friend to cinch the belt tight around the crank pulley and hold tight while you try to wrench the nut off....its going to be pretty tight. may take a few tries and some curse words. Do the same to install the new one.
Another trick is to put your 22mm wrench on the pulley and give it a few shocks with a big hammer. Just make sure you put it back on tight. Good idea to use some blue lock tight when installing to make sure it stays put. It is probably installed at around 100-150 ft/lbs

Without airtools it's a PITA. Make friends with someone who has a compressor.
If you're dead set on doing it without an impact, have a friend put the car in first gear and stand on the brake. That'll keep the engine from spinning while you try to get that bolt out.
