No one is mad at you. You have a rare car. Most has the 1.8L, 4g37 . . . Otherwise, just highjack a 2g spyder's engine w/ a 2.4L . . . you'll should be happy. Again, the spyders are rare too.

I have NO IDEA how old this thread is... didnt check... but i came across it when doing a web search and thought i'd clear up some info for your guys.
The 2g NA eclipses did have the 420a... EXCEPT for the spyders (they made both a turbo 4g63 GST and a non turbo spyder). The non turbo spyders had 4g64's.
4g64's came in galants, expos, etc... most all of those were SOHC though... but its not hard to swap to a Turbo 4g63 head... thats how dsm'ers go to a 2.4L engine... and is exactly what i was researching before i cam across this thread.
