Hi everyone,

I am in the process of installed a new sound system in to my car. I disconnected the battery to work with my wires and found I needed to run to the auto parts store for some more connectors. I hooked the battery back up and noticed on my drive over my idle at stop lights and stops signs was extremely low and it was almost fighting to stay running. It never did die. when i got home I just let it sit and run for awhile, and it stopped. So I turned on the AC and it did it again for awhile than stopped.

I have a custom exhaust system (Installed Jan 2005)
K&N Cold air intake (Installed Jan 2005)

I have had something similar happen to me on a run a few years back. I had low idle plus my car would die and I couldn't get passed 30 mph. some guys on the run knew what the problems was and pulled what looked to be a fuse but I am not 100% positive what it was it was a few years back and I cant remember now.

Disconnect the battery again, reconnect it. Restart the car and let it idle for 10-15 minutes. Shut the car off, start it again and drive conservatively for 10 minutes or so. It will shift weird etc. Then shut off, start again and you are good to go. You just didn't give the car enough learning time.
