NA Build

I've desided since there really arent many NA Lancers above 250hp that I'm going to make this my goal. I feel its possable and talking with many tuners they do to. I plan in 2 months to find a low mile complete 4g94 engine so my car is not down while building this, it wont be a quick process by any means. Then when time comes I can swap motors and still have my stocker for backup/parts. Yes this motor will be running nitrous Ported will be added to the name of the head along with alot of other mods to it, this is going to be where alot of the money is spent. Intake will be fabricated from my uncles machine shop and tested at our local Napa for flow, make him do it again if it sucks!! . Bottom end is going to be extreme forged but I havent desided on compression ratio yet. I want this motor to lope like a big block 350 Ill give a full parts list in another month when planning is about done and see what you guys think. I recently took on a second job and having a tuner car is something I've wanted for awhile so Im going to make it happen and do it big. If anyone has any suggestions please fell free to chime in.

Good luck. You have it all planned out, it sounds like. I'm not sure if you can make 250 (at the crank or wheels), but if you really give it your all, you should see some decent gains.

I think if you could get 200 NA from this engine that would be amazing. Good luck with the build and please keep us updated.

On nitrous yes, without nitrous, never.

There is PR guy that is running 12.9 with his 4g94 engine and he has about 178whp. Alot alot of work done. It's overbore 4g94 with 12.5 compression.

I just don't see it happening. Not without nitrous, race fuel and standalone. Piggy won't cut it.

Yeah, when you say N/A...we kind of assume no power adders (ie turbo, S/C, or nitrous). But with the bottom end completed forged, standalone, and upgraded fuel delivery...I don't see why 250 wouldn't be attainable!

with no kind of vvt or lift without nitrous I dont see me reaching my goal.

Once its all built and done I feel ill be making round 200hp and with forged bottom end and everything Ill feel ok running 75-100 shot nitrous track, not full time.

Have fun with quads. Mirager's have been trying to get quads to work for the better part of a decade. Its a monster to tune them and definately requires stand alone. If you can get it to work though, you would have a ton of knowledge and info to share with the rest of us.

Good luck and as Quez said.........Welcome to the $$$$$

4g94 is already stroked from 4g93.

No kit exists. We just were talking about this at mirageforums.net
AFAWK there is no way to bastardize a stroker kit either. You can't do it using 4g93 parts cause you are just taking away compression and no parts are sold to do so from the aftermarket.

It would have to be all completely custom fabricated. Again $$$$$$$$$
