Gas with SRI

all i have installed is an SRI on my OZ and it seems to be sucking up gas a little faster... i try not to accelerate too much from stop signs or traffic lights... so im pretty sure its not my driving.. what could it be? or is it completely normal for the sri to suck some gas?

No, it should be the same or a tiny bit better. That's weird though. You sure you're not steppin on the gas a little more to test out the intake lol?

Though some say it's not needed, I still reset the ecu after the install.

I would recheck the maf sensor for damage or dirt. This is a bit weird though.

Does it eat more gas or does it "seem" to drink more gas?

Only way is to test. Put the stocker back on and fill up and drive until you are on E. Caluclate your mpg roughly (amount of miles driven / no. of gallons you need to fill it up). Then do the same with the SRI installed. I'm willing to bet it is just your feeling.

Try searching on this subject. It has been discussed ever since I was a newbie back in 2002.
