Question Anyone using nitrous?

I was wondering if anyone is running NOS, how is the car holding up, and what size/setup they have?

Which kit you run isn't exactly a useful question since all nitrous kits are more or less made equal whether it's NOS, ZEX or whatever. I would personally recommend not running nitrous as the last gen engine was known to respond very poorly to it (ie. destroyed pistons/rods). If you have the money to deal with those problems though, go nuts. If you're going to do it, for the love of god get a wet kit.

Dry shot = just nitrous spray
Wet shot = nitrous and fuel spray

I don't think you guys are giving this engine enough credit. This isn't the weak 4G94. IIRC, the 4B11 has forged rods. I'm willing to bet, with a proper tune and wet setup, that a 100 shot can safely be run. I'm basing that on what the 4G69 can run, which IMO has more in common with the 4B11 than the 4G94 did.

Otter covered it nicely, wet just means fuel is added at the same time which is far safer. I don't think a 100 shot is realistic, 50 or 75 maybe but a 100 shot is a pretty big stress on the motor. We won't actually know until someone does it though.

A 50 shot is a safe shot without having any tuning done. If you bump up to a 75 shot, you will need to start looking into removing some spark timing.

I have a wet kit but I havn't installed it yet. I still waiting to figure out which wire on the throttle body is the WOT. I have a electronic activation switch (TPS) that has to be wired into it. I called Brian with RRM and he said that he was looking into it.

let me know how it works out for you, i also think a 50 shot would be fine as long as you dont use it every time you drive.
