anybody have the RRM muffler tip?
how does it feel?
hows the sound?
how is the performance?
worth the money? or go for a universal?

yes, I had one
feels great
sounds like any other magnaflow - deep throaty
performance? no change
worth it - RRM - RMR - plenty of used ones out there in A1 condition
bolts right on - universal needs to be welded - mines welded on anyway
do yourself a favor -> header + canon exhaust - don't go there

i've got it. it's decent. i mean, when i first put it on, my engine was louder than it, but its gotten a bit louder since then. very very nice. the sound is perfect-- i always hear exhaust rolling down my neighborhood(civics,240s,330zxs,subarus,etc) and one morning i hear an exhaust and i say to myself "****, that sounds ****ing nice..who's is it" and my dad happen to take my car in for a service that day. so i mean, i didn't even know it sounded that good until someone else drove my car. its pretty freakin awesome. kind of stealth too, the opening isn't too big(almost look like a chrome tip add-on(to the untrained eye). power gains- how much can an axle back really give you? i mean, you can tell there is a difference no doubt, but its nothing really tremendous. WAYYYY BETTER THAN ANY UNIVERSAL. i highly recommend this if youre on a budget.

 

That's an entire axleback exhaust, not just a muffler tip.

 

i had one also. from afar, it look like a dam tip!!!! but the sound was great. performance wise there was no different. my RRM intake gave more power than that = P

 

hmm no power gains at all... man =P i want a little noticeable difference ... would the universal exhaust give me some power gains at all compared to this?

Any catback (Greddy, Magnaflow, custom) will give a louder growl and more gains.

 

Apexi N1 is proven to give you a lil somethin as well as hive you that little grunt

 

I have the RRM SRI and the axle back. Seems to sound good to me!! Did notice performance boost, but put on both at the same time so I can't say if 1 was better than the other, sorry.

 

How about getting the new DC motorsports exhaust? I'm anxious to see how that sounds/performs.
