I don't give a **** what anyone else says Kamikaze is the best bang for your buck. I also maintain that they never did anything to fix their issues. I posted pics on a thread a long time ago showing the gap (more like lack of) between the frame and downpipe. Kamikaze downpipe is round all the way back, it should not be, compare it side by side with the stock and you will see how flat it gets where it crosses the frame, thats why the stock doesnt bang on the frame. I installed the Kamikaze (BigJosh) CEL eliminator like 2 weeks ago and haven't gotten my light back yet, so far so good.

I urge you all not to let turbo compatability rule your decision, a turbo manifold is not hard to make (you'll see) and is a lot easier to work with and simpler than up and down pipes on a header. A header is really not necessary for turbo it just so happens the best kit we have available uses one and people are biased because of it.

kamikaze kicks ***. install was a breeze and i never had any leaks. they onlu down side to the kamikaze is it has no o2 sensor hookup. all you have to do is take it to a welder and have them weld on a nut. should cost more than 20 bucks. make sure you get a test pipe when you get your header. when i sold my header and installed it for the guy but i noticed it didnt have as mush power as mine. do both and you will be very happy

Personally i like rrms better just cuse its gain was mid- high unlike kams which is high end. Kam has more high but the rrm has a smoother pb. RRM gets my vote, none when runing a straight thru system sound good though. I think youd agree with me on that rick

I've had my Kamikaze header for a long time and aside from the bolts loosening up on me and having to redrill the holes to install it...it hasn't given me any problems...both those problems arose bacause mine was one of the first ones made so I can understand there being some kinks in it...there's always gonna be some bugs....but since i put some new bolts on I haven't had any kinds of problems(knock on wood)...now about the flex pipe leaking ?...how would i go about checking that...just to be sure...i'm gonna have a custom cat back section made so I can have the guy at the shop fix it for me if there is a problem...thanks alot...

I really don't think you can beat the Group buy deal on the Kamikaze. a cheap great mod.

i have RRM and personally i think the extra kick is in a nice range, plus no real benefits from the downpipe, someone show me otherwise and i'll admit to my wrong, but honestly, every performance part from RRM has been outstanding with no problems after install, and gives just what it says it will, im not knocking kamikaze though, i think the downpipe LOOKS cool, hehe, but still, if you do go with the downpipe plan on at least doin the throttle body or you'll be dragging big time on low end.

Kamikaze headers are sweet. Especially since this is like the second gen. (so to speak) so they fixed problems that arose from the first batch. These also have the O2 sensor so that fixes the problem from the first, also a downpipe and MilEliminator for only 260 and 234 if TS member. If anybody plans to go turbo you could just use this one or buy a turbo manifold from RPW.

Turbo compatability is now a big issue between these two because a RRM turbo is (or soon to be) carb legal, while a turbo set up with the Kam will not be carb legal.

Wow way to bring back on oldie but.... well an oldie.
I have Kamikaze W/dp from the Second batch and it works fine. Great even! my only gripe is that it didnt come with a couple of parts, but they were sent a few weeks later.

the difference is all in the downpipe... take off your stock downpipe and look how 'free flowing' it is... its not. header for header, i think they are about the same. but you basically get a free downpipe and MIL eliminator for over 100 bucks less...

i lost a lot of high end when i changed from my kamikaze setup to the rrm header. go kamikaze if ur lookin to stay n/a... that's all i'm sayin about that. (the downpipe is rockin)

all headers will be about the same gains/losses. you can't get much more straight through than they already are.
