Ok so about at 40,000 miles my slave cylinder went bad or clutch, 700 ****ing dollars to fix. NOW AT ****ING 41,000 miles it goes bad again!?!?!? tahts got to be ****ing insane!!! I was driving down from my dorms then it became loose all of a sudden! I was like aw **** not agian?!!! NOW at 1:42am im stuck at my house with a car thats useless and can barly be driven. Any sugesstions? My fluid looks ok, and i really dont have the money to fix a ****ing mitsubishi problem again. *textbooks are made by teh ****ing devil* Any ideas on a how to do it yourself? is it really taht hard to pay someone 700 for this job?
well i would say a clutch job is a lot of labor, but if they do it at a shop shouldn't cost that much but in the $200-300. Plus it should just cost labor if you get the clutch yourself and it should only take about 4 hrs to do if they are a good shop that has a lift and a engine hoist. Honestly someone did something wrong when installing it. Could you give me any more information on clutch/flywheel etc...

I changed the whole system at 40k, i got a oem clutch kit. it came with the slave cylinder and clutch. i think the flywheel is stock but i cant belive this luck. My fluid for the DOT-4 is about halfway on the fusion of the container, the part where the two halfs meet. I am going to refil that and pray to all the car gods that it works. If it truly is the problem i think im going to get a ACT Stage 2 clutch ;(
