Next Logical Item to get?

Easy question to ask, not so easy for me to answer:

Best upgrade for strickly performace benefits?

1. RRM Header
2. RRM Piggy
3. Nitrous Kit
4. Don't bother wasting my money, cause the benefits are minimal?

Had the Lancer for a little over a year now, and need something new to make it fun to drive again like the first week I got it! All comments welcome!

what are stickly performance benefits???? Anyways, the largest upgrade you would feel would be nitrous- there is a problem though, you can get addicted and then would need more....like a turbo, wide fenders

from what i've read in the past few months on the website, piggy may not be best way to go if you can get a full out tune instead. nitrous i know costs money for like each "shot" or somethin like that and it seems like that would be too much a hassle to me! RRM makes a mean SRI so i would definitely recommend if not an intake you need, then next step is the RRM header. also from what i've read it should give you more "feeling" of new power than the piggy. others can correct me if i'm wrong though!

I actually went back to the RRM SRI. I have a K&N drop in filter available if anyone would like to make a offer. I am leary of the nitrous, guess "fear of the unknown!" Thanks for the input fellas............ anyone with these actual parts that can give first hand experiences?

I'm pretty sure he means "strictly" performance gains, but yes, lets point out everyone's typos.

Anyways...
Ive thought about this a lot myself.
1.) The next thing I would do is probably the header, as long as you aren't going to get a turbo. In fact, the header is next for me, esp cause mine is PZEV. Cant wait to get rid of that stupid cat on the manifold.
2.) I would rather a Reflash/tune than a piggy. WORKS are a great bunch of people, and reflash again for free if yours gets erased or you want changes made.
3.) Personally I prefer to stay away from nitrous unless its strictly a race car.

What my list is right now: Header, Exhaust, WORKS Flash. (Maybe a pulley)
Hope that helps you decide.

I am definetly not going turbo, so that is not a issue. I have the lightweight pulley, and noticed very little gains with that, as well as the SRI; believe the increase in sound makes you psychologically believe you are going faster or have gained more power. I do not want anymore dissappointments! I want something that will give me instant gratification as well as a huge smile on my face when I drive daily!

Well, Nitrous would be the only thing able to do that by itself. Theres someone else going through a nitrous install on these forums, but is having trouble tapping it into the fuel line. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=359557 You could follow that and see how his goes.

You'd have to put several things into it all once otherwise. Like if you bought the header, maybe a CAI, and a reflash at the same time you would get around 25hp on 91-93 octane. That would be pretty noticeable.

Both would probably cost around the same, but with nitrous, remember that you have to refill the bottle from time to time. Obviously you only have to turn it on when you want to go fast, and most setups only activate it at WOT.

spray is always ur best bang for the buck but me personally.... id go for the header. RRM makes a pzev version that wont eliminate ur cat so u can keep ur warrenty and after warrenty is up u can run a test pipe. plus helping ur engine breath is always a good thing.

if your not going to go turbo. but yet void your warrenty why would a turbo be out of the question? even at cost..i would still invest in a turbo if your thinking about getting Nos..anyway like some people have said already

Intake,Exhaust,header,tune in that order

Yeah, the PZEV header does eliminate the smaller cat that is bolted right on to the end of the exhaust manifold. Also if you read RRM's test pipe description, it says not to use with a header, although I am not exactly sure why. My guess would have something to do with the sensors, or maybe just because you wont have any cats, which is illegal in most states.
