Update 17th Oct.
WORKS is willing to enter the fray with their drop in. Pending dyno testing method review.
AEM is on the final stages of approval.
INJEN have not connected with the right person that can approve this testing
FUJITA no official contact as yet
K&N no official contact as yet but told to call back Tuesday
RRM have not made official contact with ROB as yet
FOURSTAR = Access to the dyno is no problem, but as this testing gets larger, additional sponsorship is needed. Poor Frank will be running the dyno him self for probably the greater part of a day. And the expanding list may result in this DYNO DAY being delayed until January, this will allow for better organization for all the vendors and myself, there are so many factors that have to be set in motion properly, small details have big effects.
What fuel octane to run, will the hood be up or down to simulate road conditions, Will ECU resets be used, what is the method to these ECU resets, how many runs, what averages, etc.. etc... there is alot of that, thankfully Frank has been around the block for this many times so he is being helpful. That and the fact that I am helping to administrate over the local Lancer Car Club.
Depends, I am still formulating a budget, I will make submissions to our local vendors and media and see if anyone is willing to sponsor the event out right. I will attempt to use me Jedi powers to get it all done fast
(mind tricking)
Cheers

lol we are in Toronto, no doubt it will be -minus 20'C outside by that time, but the dyno is inside, and the temp levels will be pretty even for the whole day
so the complaint that readings will get worse thru out the day is totally busted.
January is a safe bet because I dont want to rush this and I want everyone to have enough time to get ready. One of the vendors actually might fly in to watch.

INJEN = No response, final notice will be sent Monday, if they do not participate then a product will be sourced from a Authorized dealer.
FUJITA = Low level contact made thru Fujita and forwarded to the decision makers (receptive)
AEM = AEM is 99% expected to give thumbs up for the Lancer CAI, waiting to see if a EVO X kit will be sent as well for testing.

Its possible to test the filter during the drop in filter testing, as mentioned in the other thread I started. Its just cheaper and in some ways more logical to do the testing one segment at a time. hopefully we can get it done by Feb

we have independant verification numbers but our own dyno run on a Canadian Spec Lancer is more or less impossible. The reviews as well as the interviews of AEM and INJEN will be posted soon. I am just in the middle of a few things right now which has me a little tied up.
Car Club website relaunch
Car club meets
Summer / All Season Summer group buy
Dyno Re Due of the Lancer Intakes
Dyno Tests of the INJEN EVO X intercooler pipe
All that aside, I am actually hiring someone to help me get this all done. lol who ever thought I would hire someone lol
