Dual Exhaust?

I'm not sure if this is even the right part or the forum, if not mods please move it to the correct spot

K well my car is currently in the body shop getting repaired from the guy that rear ended me, since the ralliart bumper is out yet, and the evo bumper doesn't fit, I'm going to have them make a cut out for another pipe on the left side of the bumper, hopefully they can match it.

Now I'm not sure if I'm going to go with Borla or Flowmaster but, I'm sure i can get a single in dual out exhaust, and then have them pipe it into the slots.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is possible isn't it?

Put enough zeros on the check you write and anything is possible.

Yeah, its completely possible, I've seen other members of Evom do the same thing. you can either have a 1 in - 2 out muffler like you said, or have a Y slplit with 2 smaller mufflers.

i'm going to have my exhaust custom built by a local muffler shop as a y-split dual when i turbo my car. i definitely wouldn't do it without it being turbo though, for fear of loss of back-pressure.

oh, and having your exhaust custom built by a local shop usually is not very expensive. in fact, it'll most likely be cheaper than an aftermarket cat-back.

totally not true..some of the earlier motors made love turbos and respond greatly to those..why do you think u see so man 240s.eclipses, civics..that run so fast off turbos? the 4B11 in our car is not much diff than the Evos. it has weaker internals that you can build up..

i dont know who u were talking to about that but they gave you some bad info.

you are an idiot if you try to turbo the car, theres more problems thsn not when going from na to turbo, trade in for the ralliart if you want the awd turbo, best bang for your buck, im sure if you got the insurance adjuster to look you could find frame damage and get the car totaled, paid for and a new ralliart or evo

^^ What?? find frame damage? wtf are you talking about? insurance fraud?
if i traded in my lancer for the ralliart (which, believe me, i desperately want to do) i'd lose about $6000 in equity. i'm not prepared to do that.

I gotta ask the adjuster at the collision center my 09 was taken to to look for frame damage. Does frame damage usually automatically qualify it as totalled?

lol yes, if your frame is bent I think so. A friend of mine had a beautiful supra that had a bent frame, HE BEGGED and I mean BEGGED night and day but they wouldnt give him the car even though it was a write off. lol

im thinking of doing a borla with either a Y split or maybe a borla thats single in dual out, not sure which yet, as for the bumper, my car is currently in the body shop. Due to the fact that i got rearended by some *****. The body shop said its completely possible to do a cutout on the factory bumper, and they wouldn't charge extra. So I guess its just a matter of going in "approving" of what theyre doing and letting them make the measurements and cut it. Should be pretty easy I'd think
