MPG is about the same for both. But from what other threads have said the CAI with give more HP but it has possiblities of sucking up some water. Since you live in NJ and I live in PA where there isn't much of a difference in weather. I would say go for the SRI. I got my RRM SRI v2 in February and love it!

I got the RRM too on my 2009 Lancer GTS, is yours like this? The shield is touching the wires on the left side. And does yours make the growling sound at 2000 rpm?

^ Mine is exactely like this. Touching the wires a lil bit. Not enough to eat thru them though, so it's all good!

Yeah mine is the same. I just tugged on the wires a little to make them not appeared pinched. They kind of just lay there now. The growling Im not to sure about. I can tell I have a air intake around 2500-3000 and around 4000 is the best sound.
