i got the other version of it not sure which one though but its the one that gonna give u an intake leak.
he suggested that i need a thicker gasket made with metal and bigger hole. (60mm)

Uhhh what? I've had 3 4G93 IMs and they were all the same except for the vacuum ports / outlets on it.

Well what TB are you using? Get the gasket for that TB (if you're running a 60 mm TB as it sounds like you are, get one of those) ....

That is, if you're sure it's leaking from the intake manifold and the TB.

I guess my first question is, are you sure it's leaking from the intake manifold? How are you so certain?

its between the IM and TB. (where it connects)
Rhyzin's the one who found about it.

EDIT: he used the PB blaster technique. also when he put his finger at the IM, TB connection, the vacuum sound lessens..

Hmmm... I dont think the Lancer gasket was any smaller than the Mirage. But who knows. I'm all for the cheap / free fixes first. I'm sure you've tried bolting it down pretty good, esp. the lower bolts that are awkward to reach, and the gasket is in good condition?

Outside of that, get a new gasket. They should be about 3 bucks and that would eliminate one potential problem.

Throttle body gaskets are not meant to be re-used on the 4G9x engines. Also make sure that you install the gasket the right way. It has to be oriented a specific way. See the diagram.
