probably coil packs, but it would probably give you power loss going down the road

at 117k, you really should be doing a complete maint. run through, everything from coolant to ignition, to timing belt

You said that light came on, or it was on and went off? Point blank do you have it on now, if you do get the code pulled and bring it back. Also, just to throw this out there, are you sure your check engine light even works? It might be on and the bulb isn't coming on, either way, we're going to need a little bit more info. When my coil packs went bad my idle wasn't bad, it was when I drove that my car sounded bad.

I had to do this every once in a while with mine when it started to idle rough. run it down to quarter tank. put a whole bottle of injector cleaner in. run it to 1/8 tank or less. then it would run great. I found the problem stoped when i switched gas stations.

Dont forget after you do reset the ecu it is not going to want to idle at all until it completes the relearn routine

I would change the pcv valve too its only a couple bucks and that can create lots of idle issues

I would do a compression test to verify integrity in the cylinders before using injector cleaner.
