There should be spec sheets of engine internals for both the 4B11/4B12 and 4B11-T, research them, find your own answers.

Honestly, how much power can you actually put down on the ground with the 2.4. With no LSD, a weak transmission, suspension and brakes. The TC-SST is no beast, and the brakes could use a little help, but to even perform to the low standards of a R/A, you must put down R/A money or more to match its marks.

The cost of stroking a 4b12 would be high. Everything would have to be custom made and the most expensive part would be the crankshaft. You might be able to get it to 2.6L but that would be pushing it, because I'm thinking that the block's integrity would be compromised by boring it out that much. And then you'd have an engine that wouldn't rev very high like otter has said and you'd end up with a car that isn't very fast.

Bottom line is I think this is a bad idea. A turbo kit is a much more cost effective solution.
