Hi flow cat and factory warranty issues

I'm hoping to put together a full exhaust to buy and wanted to know if anyone had issues with high flow cat? Would high flow cats void the warranty iff I took it in to be serviced?

So even though it wouldnt directly affect the engine in a bad way it would still void the warranty?

Would headers and a catback with the original cat void the warranty as well?
what about the rrm piggyback ecu and timing module?

unless ur car malfunctions and u tell them to fix something that they can prove the aftermarket product broke ur warranty is fine.. ive had my car for almost 3 yrs and ive never been to the dealership.. why do ppl go so often?

knowing , they will most likely void ur warranty for not washing your car on a regular basis. if you have a cool dealership where the people are chill, nothing should void your warranty, unless something goes wrong, and the dealer can prove one of your mods caused it. either way though, usually any new exhaust from the cat back WONT void your warranty, because from the cat back is just noise, the cat itself takes care of the emissions thing....however, replacing the stock cat will void your warranty.

^ true as said above, but when you mess with the Cat, you give them a lot more ways to try to blame it on the aftermarket cat. so replacing the cat wont directly void your warranty. just like a turbo dosent void your warranty..but you bet your *** if something happens they'll find a way to blame that due to the turbo and what not.

as far as the issues you'll have with the car i cant see too many problems coming from changing the Cat, they cant blame any tranny problems or major things like that..so its all about what you wanna do

also remember when a dealer "voids" your warranty they dont void everything entirely its either your power train warranty, suspension something like that..you can have a turbo on your car and have a problem with your window and they cant refuse to fix your window because you have a aftermarket turbo.

Well I figure ill just keep my exhaust in case there is ever an issue. Ill ask whenever I can remember to call my dealer. I'm sorry if this is a dumb question but do they make long tube headers for 4 cyl. And would our lancers ever see one if so?
And tis there only one set of header out for the 2.4?
