you should read a book called "Scientific Design of Exhaust and Intake Systems" or something like that. the best exhaust you can possibly have on any vehicle for performance purposes, is basically an open header.

With a turbo it should work. It will only be a death sentence on a NA car.

This will give maximum HP, yes, but you risk upsetting things like the scavenging affect which will ultimately hurt low end power and driveability.

 

true, but then again that book suggests exhausts for basically race cars. if you are drag racing, you are only in the low RPMs for a short bit...

 

Bingo, for a race car, you don't really care about noise or bad low-end power.
