Hey guys, I'm having a friend of mine who is a CAD designer make up a custom 4g94 intake manifold for me. But first I need to know what holes on the stock intake manifold MUST be reproduced on the custom manifold.
I've circled specific spots on the stock mani that I am unsure of their function. If you could tell me what they are for I'd really appreciate it!
I've added numbers to the circles for reference.

Well here is what I know for sure
#2 is where the map sensor goes,
#3 is where the PCV connects to
#4 is where your Throttle cable bolts to
Not sure about #1 & #5 without popping my hood and its 12:30 at night right now lol

Thanks lol, it's #5 that I'm really in the dark about.
If I like the design of the initial casting of the manifold, dyno test it for gains, and see pleasing results. I may send the design to my brother for mass production. He is the owner of a race fabrication company called Momentum Auto Works.
Who knows, this may turn out to becoming the first true aftermarket 4g94 intake manifold!
