Anyone know what this is?

Saw it (looks almost the same as an FPR) at a local meet on a buddy's OZ. A couple of us tried to figure out what it was. My ES and another guy's as well didn't have it. However the throttle bodies on the ES' did have the threaded holes where this device would bolt on. There is was looks like a vacuum hose coming out of it and going off to the passenger side fender and plugs into something that looks almost like a coil.....? What is this thing?

you know what, that makes sense as to what it would be....since the two ES's do not have cruise control.

I think it's called a vacuum actuator??? Not sure. Part of cruise control though.

Naw its the flux capacitor for the lancer . It is apart of the cruise control

cruise control mate.

Btw is that your setup? You should move the Battery to the Evo spot and put the maf/filter where the battery is now. Just for looks IMO and airflow (less heat soak).
