oil dipstick tube removal??????

hey so i broke the plastic part of the dipstick off in the tube. long story short i dropped the pan to try to get it out and ended up snapping the tube at the block. how do you get the rest of it out FROM the block? right now im coming in from the pan side and trying to push it out but im to a point where i cant get any good leverage on it to keep pushing. any ideas?

Is it leverage or that you can't push it up far enough??

You could try a bearing removal tool. Its basically a slide hammer with a end the you can expand so u can slip it down where the tube itself installed from the outside and then expand the tip so it grabs the broken piece and. Pull it out

that didnt even work. i just got it close and put some permatex ultra black silicone on it to seal it up.

there was no way it was coming out. i tried pretty much everything. it got to a point and then it wouldnt go any further.
