I can verify that unplugging the middle plug under the driver's seat in an '09 will do the trick.

IMPORTANT: Don't unplug the yellow wire, as that is somehow related to the airbag (a message with "Service Required" and an airbag drawing popped up when I unplugged it). I think it might even disable the driver's airbag (steering wheel and/or knee airbag). As for the plug to the far left, I didn't touch it so I'm not sure what it does, but the center plug most definitely disables the chime/"bing" that annoys the hell out of a lot of us.

As for the passenger airbag lights by the hazard lights, I haven't messed with those yet. Can anyone shed some light on that?

Hope this helps.

You're going to the gym almost everyday of the week and getting tattoos non-stop? If appearance is so important to you, why would you skip wearing a seat belt? Last time I checked, your head being wedged through the steering wheel and smashed into the instrument cluster plus a set of broken legs is going to be more painful than a tattoo scabbing over...with effects that are just as permanent.

For the love of everything holy...suck it up and wear your seat belt. Don't be an idiot.

I work in a ER, and at least once a week some one will come in as a trauma from not wearing there seat belt, a month ago i had to watch a mother break down because her two sons were killed in a low speed collision because they were unrestrained. You can be uncomfortable or be dead but its your call. Hate to sound health and safety but until you see what a human head looks like when it strikes a windshield, or when you fly full force into a air bag its not pretty.
