HELP! Blew main fuse (100AMP) on battery cable

So i got all excited when i got my evo battery trey, thanks jrr btw , anyways i got so excited i didnt even pay attention an i managed to reverse the polarity by putting the positive cable on the ground post and the ground calbe on the possitive post and it blew the main fuse on the positive battery cable.

Are there any fixes for this besides buying a whole new positive cable?? What will happen to my car now that its blown? The car starts and runs, but while logging it in EvoScan i noticed the battery voltage is only 11.3v. Will my battery not charge now because the fuse is blown? Also how do i check to make sure i didnt blow my alternator? All of the fuses under the hood, and in the dash checked out ok, but, the radio wont play, it just illuminates, and the CEL, BRAKE, BATTERY, and OIL PRESSURE dummy lights on the dash wont light up now, but the ABS and guage lighting and functions work normal, so does the ECU. Any ideas?

Your car will not charge the battery without the fuse.
It's the alternator cable that is broken with the fuse.

I would either get a replacement or buy a aftermarket one and use it, just make sure the amps are right.
Then go from there.

Doing this will fix your voltage problem, not sure about the rest of it.

And you can just have a auto parts store check your alternator, though sometimes they are wrong.

remove your battery cables while its running to see if the alternator is fried. doubtful but wont hurt to check

if the car dies, then the alternator is fried.

really surprised you didnt fry anything else. consider your self lucky. many people have done this and fried a lot of electronics.

I know im really lucky! Its now 14.3v when crusing around, so the alt is ok im sure. After it poped the fuse, inside my car all i smell is burn electronics but, i got an aftermarket fuse block and wah-lah everything works just as good as new, even re-flashed my ECU just to make sure that worked as well, The reason my CD player didnt work was it blew the 5amp fuse, and same thing with my subs. Thanks for the input man much appreciated!

Well i thought everything was ok, BUT i figured since EvoScan is working and im getting live data back from my car that the ECU is ok, but now i cant flash the car! It sends like three sequences then says " No response to any known code '' Do you think i fried the reflash cable or something? When the car blew the fuse, the OBD-2 part of the re-flash cable was plugged in, but the re-flash cable wasnt. When i unplugged the OBD-2 connection after it blew, it looked fine, but smelled like a busted battery, you know that "machine chemical smell" is the best way i can describe it. But it can connect to the ECU, just not flash it? Did i ruin the ECU, or the cable?

It's most likely the cable cuz the car wouldn't run with a fried ecu.
