What's stock redline on a 4B11? 6500? Unless you know of others running 8000 without problems, that sounds like you're pushing your luck to me. The forces at the top and the bottom of stroke go up exponentially with speed. 7000 isn't that much faster and should be within the safety margin of the original design. If you haven't already, I'd do some serious research, unless you're prepared to replace your engine if it grenades.

I will do so. But as said the car is currently revving to 7000rpm no problem. But I will test it out when its fully done to work out a safe margin on the engine.

I have been reading alot on here and I talked to my tuner guys and I have decided to bag the turbo idea and go pure NA. I'm told that I may be able to get 250 WHP with an NA 09 GTS CVT, so this is what I have and what I am getting done:

Currently have:
RRM Header
A'Pexi N1 axle back exhaust
RRM intake
Tein S-type springs

Coming:
Brian Crower Stage 2 Cams / lifters / springs etc
Tranny cooler
RPW Crank pulley
ECU piggy back
timing controller
Header back exhaust with hi flow cat
ECU tune
Timing adjustment
probably forgetting a few things

The goal is to hit 250 WHP NA, but that may be a stretch. My tuner guy is a guy and is really good with tunes. He thinks 240-250 is realistic. I'll post dyno results and pics when it is all said and done.

Good luck. It should be possible, but it might require some engine work.
Also if he is a good tuner he will tell u to not get a piggy back ecu and timing controller as the stock ecu is already more than powerful enough for what u are gonna need.

ecu tune + timing controller + ecu piggy back +timing adjustment ....

ecu tune will adjust timing and a timing controller and piggy back will not be needed so congrats i just saved you almost $600 and a huge headache as trying to tune a car with those 2 mods would be a PITA as they would keep throwing things off and probably cause you to run lean.

yeah i was about to point that out. you cant use all those things together. not to mention the piggy and timing controller yeilds little to no gains. there was a thread of before and after and the guy ran pretty much the same times both times.

Did your tuner guy recommend that list of mods? If so, I'd maybe think about using someone else....

If not, then make sure you really do your homework before just start throwing stuff at your car and wind up broke and frustrated.

Well 250 na or like we say here in PR all motor... is kind of high.. as for today a guy achieve 195whp 185tq with a 4b12 header, trottle of ralliart 2.4, 2 1/4 exhaust , pulley, intake and ecu flash. In my opinion those are great numbers and well i could say 220 maybe 230 is near realistic but not 250.

Like I said u will probably see 250 only with engine work. Meaning port and polish. Also im sure a more optimized intake manifold would be needed. Or an alternative is displacement so maybe a stroking kit if u have a 4B11 from the 4B12 or one of the kits available for the evo x.
