Stock Crankshaft Pulley problem???

Ok my car is a 2008 2.0 gt it has 36500miles the thing is when i drive my car really hard and start to make upshifts and downshifts i get this kind of supercharge sound like when a car has a supercharger so i took the car to the dealer and they told me i had to replace the crankshaft pulley cause it was worned out and they told me thats where the woozing sound is coming from also they cranked started the car and you could clearly see how the pulley had a very weird movement like a wooby movement..
but why when i drive the car slowly or normal i cant hear any woozing sound??
thanks for the help

Get the RPW pulley instead. It's made from higher grade aluminum and is balanced/dampened.

i went with the RRM pulley on my 08 GTS and no issues. You need an impact gun to remove a 22mm bolt. Its simple to do and worth the $139.99.

Well the stock pulley has a tendency to develop an oil leak due to wear.

This is actually a picture of RRM's V1 pulley, but you get the idea, that ring isn't supposed to be there. (Before noobs freak out RRM fixed this long ago with a sleeve, RRM pulley will not wear like this anymore) Stock on the other hand may still develop the ring and leak oil.

Anyways I contacted RPW on this matter to see what they've done to counter the oil leak and they claim the alloy they use is stronger than OEM so there is no need for them to sleeve their pulley. I don't believe there have been any reports of RPW pulley oil leaks so I guess they're not lying lol.

So both RRM and RPW pulleys are better than stock, RPW just happens to be better quality.

many lancer ex owners have the RPW pulley here, and yes its better quality. even i replaced my rrm pulley onto my lancer OZ to one from RPW, it eliminated the vibration i had for sometime.
