Saw the post about putting a eclispe engine into the lancer.
Is it possible to buy a turboed Eclipse engine and put it in a lancer? Seen them for about 2000, which is less than the turbos i have seen.
Also, what other engines could you put in and how expensive would it be to change them?

 

its a lot of money to drop the engine into ur car...like a few 1000$'s

the 'easiest' engine to drop into our car is the Aussies Galant 6a12 or 6a13TT

those almost bolt right in...according to RPW...

 

The eclipse engine is just another variant of the 4g63 thats in the EVOS and the orientation of the engine is diferent. Cams on the left vs the right. Please go to the newbie section and read the merged thread about this . Basically I will give you the ciff notes version.....If you wanted a 4g63 you should have bought a GST/GSX eclipse or an EVO. If you want turbo buy a turbo kit that was designed and engineered fro the lancer.
