need some input

hello everyone. i have a 2002 lancer es and i have couple questions.
i recently just got out of an insurance claim with a decent salvage check. now i want to put a some cash into my car while i have it. my car is in good shape all around, but the only flaw i see is that i have over 180,000 miles and a lot of missing power.
so my main question is what can i do about my engine? what are my options as far as rebuilding or getting a different engine, and how much will those options cost? my engine runs great, but i drive a lot and just want to make sure i have a reliable engine for years to come.
i've looked around online and havent found much useful info. the only thing ive found are some used engines with between 60,000 and 140,000 miles on them for between $600 and $800. would a used engine with 60-80,000 miles be a good option? are there better options for the price? also how about junk yards for a used engine? finding a t-boned lancer with low miles doesnt sound too bad.... to me at least.

Thanks!

Oh you mean getting it back to stock power. Well since it's that old you might need a headjob a new catalytic converter (since those do clog and cause problems) clean your injectors, and basically a tune up. Pretty much all you can do. Get a newer G94 from a salvage yards if you like. As long as the milage is fairly low.

yes, stock power and stock reliability is what i'm after. i want another 100,000 miles out of my car before i retire her.

the catalytic converters are first on the list. they are kind of clogged now.
as for getting a different engine, how much would you think it would cost for an engine at a you pull it style junk yard?
