Engine "Clicks" When Cold

I have a clicking sound coming from my engine, it's in the morning when I first take off, and it only last until I get going for about 5 seconds.

Is this a cause for concern? I was reading somewhere it could be the lifters but I'm not sure

Thanks...

Its likely the lifters and its normal for mitsu engines to start this after awhile. Unless its really loud there is not much cause for concern. If your worried you can take them out and bleed them or take it in and have the lifters cleaned and bled.

I wouldn't worry, mine has had that tick it's whole life. If it's below 40 or so then it's quite a bit louder for the first few minutes but calms down. I've heard lifters that had been bled and not refilled before reinstalling and trust me, you would know what that's like. It sounds like the engine has broken glass bouncing around in it.
