Ralliart Engine swap in Oz rally

I am considering swapping in a 4g69 engine into my oz to make it qucker since i cant turbo my engine because it has 139k miles and i dont want the engine to die. I just wanted to know if this swap is even possible or if it is how much hassle it would really be, i just owuld rather have my oz run 160hp instead of 120hp which feels like nothing.

Why can't you turbo your engine at 139k? give her a once over, new bearings, new gaskets, hone/deck, and maybe new pistons/rods while you are in there?

Bump*

also interested in this... I would support the engine swap because a possible direct swap might be more economical and or more "stable" (cant think of a different word)

what i mean is we are running stock lancers, for me adding turbos and CA-intakes, and so on... means more work and more things to keep an eye out for...

hope to see legitimate answers...

and after your done with the swap you can put the 4g63(evo) head on it. This is proven to be the best method if your not lookin to turbo. There is still a bit of tuning you would have to do but that's all minimal compared to the tuning you would have to do for turboing a lancer. You can turbo after the swap too but you are looking to stay N/A. So with those 2 links you should be set to swap your 4G94 to a 4G64.

A few years to respond but maybe someone else will find this thread and might find my engine swap thread useful
