Will my engine be ok a with piston like this? All my cylinder walls look good and the other three pistons are perfect thank god.

All I have to say is kids don't **** around with power tools. Just because the brush is brass doesn't mean what the bristles are attached to is brass. fml.

What (if anything) should I use gasket sealer on when putting the head back on? Intake, exhaust, head gasket, valve cover gasket, cam position sensor housing, thermostat housing?

Then the next question is what kind of gasket sealer? hard like Permatex Ultra Black, or non hardening?
nothing on the head gasket , pit marks on the piston ?

So use nothing on the head gasket? just slap it together with the head gasket alone?

Luckily my threads were spared and I was able to get it out without incident. Seems the hardest thing is finding new head bolts (3 to 5 day wait at any local auto part store )

After drilling and tapping (and having the tap snap off just after getting the bolt to screw out of the block)

No I tried to reinstall the original OEM head bolts. Going to probably get a set of new OEM head bolts to get me back on the road. Once (if ever) I turbo I will go that route, it's not like it is difficult to remove the valve cover and replace head bolts

I did message MEGA 4g94 about his ARP studs in the for sale section so hopefully we can make a deal

I also see sets on ebay for $125 shipped

NO NO NO! NEVER! EVER! EVER! REUSE HEAD STUDS! ESPECIALLY OEM ONES!

The ARP ones he has for sale are a deal. $100+ shipping are a bet. Second lowest price is 145 from SC.

Use the ARP head studs man. Buy once cry once. The oem head studs stretch as well.
