The problem is the electric drive by wire throttle. Try this:http://www.sprintboostersales.com/de...cer&engine=Gas

Feh. Straight line speed is boring. Go find some turns.

Actually I was lucky enough to have someone smash into my lancer totaling it. So for now it will go down in history as my slowest car ever.

No, it doesn't work. Your gas pedal is a drive by wire, meaning when you apply force to the accelerator it sends a signal to the computer and responds with the appropriate throttle. A sprint booster simply adjusts the acceleration curve so that applying normal force responds with higher than normal throttle.

So for example, with a sprint booster installed, you may only be pressing the pedal down 25%, but your throttle will respond as if you're pressing it down 50%. These are not exact percentages, I'm just making the point.

If you want the extra response time and throttle that a sprint booster provides, save yourself the money and simply step on the gas harder. It's the same thing.

that totally makes sense, i got the imoression it sent the signal faster somehow and therefore reduced the response time, but that makes perfect sense, good info Panis!

My buddy has one. I drove his car and it def FEELS more responsive. What Panis says is true, but with the SB installed everything is magnified, so if you drive like he suggests WITH the SB installed the experience becomes even better. My freind has the 4b11 NA and his car feels better than mine. I am def gonna invest in one when Im less poor lol.

Can't a tune do essentially the same thing as the sprint booster? A full tune not the works flash
