Slowest car Ive ever owned... Help!

As the title states... Ive had my 08 GTS CTV for about a year and a half and it by far the slowest car Ive ever owned. I already added an Injen CAI and Tsudo header back... Still feel like I can get out and run faster than this thing accelerates from a stop.

Should I be looking at the Works ECU flashing? I dont have much faith in simple stuff like lightweight pulleys and things of that nature seeing as how intake and exhaust didnt do much for me.

Love the car; hate the slow.

Your car is gonna be the same as the evo, you put parts on it, get it tuned being adding parts isn't gonna do **** for the vehicle being the car runs pig rich from the get go.

Well to be fair, on paper, the tC is rated at 160HP/163 ftlbs torque compared to the Lancer which is 152HP/146 ftlbs torque...

tC gearing is pretty aggressive too. Way more pick up.

I currently have a boosted 2006 tC which makes the Lancer feel even slower. Sadface.

This. If you wanted a fast car, you should have gone with an Evo, or at least a Ralliart.

I have a fast car. What I want is my Lancer to comfortably/easily merge in situations where I need to get on the gas. Id like to go 0-60 in under a year.

Im not expecting a 10 second car but I sure would like an under 20 second car.

Of course above Im exaggerating its slowness but I think my point is going over some heads.

You're not going to make it noticeably quicker unless you boost it.

So the lancer doesnt respond to any mods other than turbo?

WORKS and RRMs claims of 8-16HP or 5ftlbs of torque respectively with each of their ECU solutions are fabricated?

I think if your just going for a few more ponies and response do a intake of some sort CAI or SRI an exhaust maybe the lightweight pulley and a good Tune I think would do these cars some good.

Yea, intake/exhaust/thottle body/pulley and a tune is what im aiming for currently, i think it would be very noticeable. Still no race car but im sure it would jump more.
