High Output Alternator?

Hey Everybody,
I have a 2002 Lancer and recently the alternator crapped out on me. I've been looking into getting a new one and in looking I've found the "High Output Alternators". Basically the stock one puts out 80amps and the high output one can put out 140amps, 180amps and I've seen even higher than that. My question is what are the advantages of putting out more amps (make my lights stop dimming when my stereo hits, ect...) and is it worth it to spend the extra bit of money for it?

Yes. I am getting one ASAP. I keep burning out the 80 and 90 amp models. Running two amps, hi power deck, and loads of aftermarket lighting, fans, and a tranny cooler.

I figure I'm pushing the max amp load on stock 100%, and I'm cooking these stock ones. It's definitely worth it, even for the peace of mind of knowing you're not drawing more amps than your alternator can handle...
