Head Swap

I've been reading up on evo m about switching the head on our 4G94 motors . So if I read correctly , it doesn't directly add a bunch of hp but it adds a little and then opens up the opportunity to have more hp in our cars ?

Doesn't fit the 4G94. It fits the 4G69, which is the lancer Ralliart engine.

Llt makes a head called a 4g93 e dohc head that I know will fit. It's pricey though.

Well, since it won't fit, no.

There is a JDM engine out there that uses the 4G94 bottom end and has a DOHC head, but good luck finding one/getting it over here. Then if anything goes wrong, you have no easy way of getting parts.

It's the 93e head. Found in Australia and Ireland. Yeah, you'll gain a bit but not like 20 more or something.

I really wouldn't worry about something breaking, it's just the head that's foreign. The plugs, belt, boots are all over here.

1. No

Only other head to fit the g94 block is the g93 dohc head ( needs add parts to do it)

2. only other head that fits g69 block is a g63 dohc head from a evo9 ( needs add parts to do it and ralliart is mivec)

No, it's a different platform. You can swap in a 4g92 mivec or 4g93e, but good luck finding one

I want to say 92 or 93 mirage hatchback. I don't think the cars that had them were ever sold in the US
