Ya, Buschur pissed me off, too. I had to deal with the exact same problems. See my old thred:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...broken+buschur

on top of my filter breaking they didnt send me all the necessary couplings, too. It took the total of two months, many calls to Buschur, and several headaches to finally get the coupling, only to find that they sent the wrong coupling.

So after all of that, I simply returned the entire thing and Bushcur repayed me and payed for all shipping. Then I bought an Injen and Ive been happy since.

However it sucks that you cant put on the stock air box.

How does your filter fit properly with only three of the four bolts on?

Oh, and that engine "Scraping" sound is normal. It should sound kinda like its sucking air in really quickly, since the intake is sucking air in.

When you shut you engine off there is no more combustion, but the pistons are still moving for a moment. This causes air to be sucked in to the cylinders, resulting in the loud sucking noise that you hear.

I'm with madcellman. Even with the trifles, the car is much quicker and more responsive now (and this is after losing HP by removing an AEM cold air).

I cracked my stock air box as well. Spent some quality time with 5 minute expoxy and a lot of patience. I also used vice grips to aid in not cracking the hell out of the rest of the box as well.

im having a hard time figuring out how yall had so many problems with the stock air box and **** mine came right off

and as far as this intake your talking about sounds like the maker has some issues i have a injin intake everything is direct blot up and it puts the filter right in front of thoes fake vents at the bottom left side of your bumper all you got to do is take out your little vent and you have almost a ram air induction set up anyway if there is anyone looking to get a cold air induction system i sugest the injin system i noticesed tons of throttle responce differences and also better breathing at higher rpms
