hotwires

i saw this and was just wondering if the spark which is 300 times more powerful than stock could actually be too much and cause damage to the car.

Well you will have to find someone that owns hot wires or buy them yourself to find out if they really are any good. Hotwires are a cable and capacitor style spark plug that whyen charged releases a massive spark. The shop guy says yes these are very good a few friends also seem to endorse them. Hotwires are mad by a company called Nologies and since they are carried by a few major automotive suppliers I would trust this product more than its competitor Direct Hits. Both of these companies web pages are low quality but here it is anyways. http://www.nology.com/hot.html

If ya buy em tell us what ya think.

The Lancer uses 2 direct fire distributorless coils which in turn fire the two other cylinders. Unless Nology developed a brand new coil system, you're better off getting the Magnecor's.
