I just wanted to know if it was possible to do an engine swap, with a ralliart engine onto a lancer es. Since they both share the same cvt transmission, and both are automatic. Anyways I know I messed up I really should've bought an EVO, but I'll get one down the road hopefully. I just wanted to know if this swap is actually possible and if anybody has done it, also I've read that it's better to add the eclipse motor instead of the ralliart. I just want to get informed so I can plan ahead.

 

Ralliart (4B11T engine) does NOT use CVT. It uses the Twin-Clutch six speed (TC-SST).


I don't think the CVT will hold up to that kind of torque...


Me? I would suggest researching value of your car and price of a used Ralliart and make a decision based on that...
