stroker kit

stroker kit

does anyone make a stroker kit for the 2.0?? or does anyone know if a 4g64(2.4L)crank will work just wondering and how far can the block be bored??

I've been told that this is the same block for the 1.8 and 1.6, so it's already bored out a bit. It seems that it's not a good idea to bore it any more if going turbo, but NA you could probably do a little more. I'll wait to overbore mine when it actually needs a rebuild.

No stroker kits for the 2.0 exist at this time. The only way you can increase displacement for "relatively cheap" is if you bore it out. Dont know the structural integrity of the 2.0 block and how much clearance you have between the piston walls, but I think you can get about 5 more out of it. I dont know for sure, so dont take my word as gospel. Just basing my assessment on the 1.8 block which has been successfully bored out.

The G92, G93, and G94 share the same block, but the G94 has a higher deck height and bored to the max already. Of course, I haven't opened a lancer block. Also, it would look like the G94 is the last of the G9x family.

well, that leaves you with 2 options: run higher compression pistons (assuming you're not boosting or NOS), or run a search for MIVEC engine swap.
