Stick with the 4b11 engine you have and put a turbo kit on it if you are looking for decent power in the 4k range. Not sure how easy it is to swap your cvt for a 5 speed but the manual 5 speeds can hold up to around 250hp if you get a good clutch on it. It's just to expensive and time consuming to drop and Evo or Ralliart drivetrain into a lancer....the transmission and suspension is so vastly different it would take a lot of custom work to make it work properly and in the end of the day after all the money you put into it, all you have is a fwd lancer. I would recommend a turbo kit as stated above and a few other mods to make it a bit more fun to drive and save to big dollars for a better platform to build for big power. Just my thoughts...cheers
