i did the install myself very easy... except had trouble with the sensor comming off... it was in there good... i have only a CAI... and no exhaust... tightened the throttle cable a bit... and cars great... at first it sounded so gay.. but after a couple miles when the carbon built up inside the pipe it was all good.. sounds great... when i get my cat back i'm keeping it in... but when i get headers it has to go honestly... i've heard all the complaints....

boe - I'm thinking of taking out my test pipe when I get my headers...not going to combine the two. In terms of piggyback...i dunno man...not ready to switch to 91 octane just yet...gas prices are up the roof right now.

alexis - i should of drove over to your place to get mine installed. I went somewhere and paid an arm and a leg for it. Oh well.

bob- take the sensor off first with a 7/8" line wrench (looks like a box wrench with teeth on the end) Sensor sockets suck!! (yell it from the mountaintops 3 times fast )

I put my cat-converter back in and have noticed much better torque and not a lot lost in the upper end (of course, I don't spend a lot of time at 5k+ RPM in 5th). If you're AXing you'll not want to take the cat our because it'll 1) bump you into a higher category and 2) you'll be losing all that valuable throttle response and torque.

Plus, with and a cat you get that growl which the test pipe converts to a tinny rattle (yes, I drove with it on for approx 10K miles)

Just $0.02 from an NA guy who's been on both sides of the fence.
