You don't need an FPR for just bolt ons.

Maybe I am wrong but it is my understanding that a FPR will only benefit your vehicle if you have a turbo which requires some tuning.

The above 2 members are correct. W/ just basic mods like I/H/E, FPR is useless on the 4g94, unless eye candy. From the factory, it's already good enough at max hold your HP around 200 NA (really pushing the FPR and fuel pump).

Of course, there is no way basic mods will give you +50 HP right off the bat (defying the laws of physics).

What kind of Infinit does your friend have? If he has a G20t with the boost raised and some other goodies then yes, he'll need an FPR...only thing I can think of at least.

Actually a FPR unit can help if you use teh correct one.
RPW fits a lot of rising rate units not to increase teh fuel pressure which can be done as well although the majority of cars we leave at standard at 38 psi at idle, but for the reason that using a risign rate unit helps remove flat spots on acceleration that become evident when you do mods like I/E/Air cleaner etc.

The 2.0 lancer woudl beenfit from faster throttle response without using any more fuel simply because these units have a faster response rate of 1.7 : 1 instead of the standard 1 : 1 ratio.

RPW kits have everything from the unit, fpr guage, adapters to go straight into the fuel rail, hose clamps, hoses etc.

They are also perfect to use when you do bolt a turbo onto the car.

The G20t is just the "touring" trim of the G20. I don't think G20's were ever turbo here... I at least know the newer ones aren't.

i had the FSE rising Rate fpr installed in my LS, it made a massive difference. After i had the air intake and the exhaust done, i noticed a huge flatspot when accelerating off the line. this has been smoothed out, no flat spots now, all of the farty popping noises have gone when i gear down coming to corners or lights, i can put my foot down in any gear at any speed and the car just goes. the difference is massive. Probably like me, you think everything is fine now but when the fpr is on, you'll realise what a rough drive your car was beforehand.

Hell i even have one for sale... it's a command flow regulator that i used for some NA applications. It allowed me to drop the fuel pressure slightly to improve my AFR from stock. It also made my stock regulator a 1:1 rising rate since the mod was designed for an eclipse setup. If you want it let me know.
