I just bought two at Auto Zone. They fit with no problems at all. I put one on the valve cover and one on the intake piping. I have an injen CAI but i think you can still do it to the stock piping.

Pardon stupidity, but what does a catchcan do?

Exactly what its name says...catches blow by deposits in a can...routes air back to the line in the exhaust track.

If you have a filter on your intake, that can be bad, real bad. It lets air in past your MAF, its not accounted for and might make your car run lean and burn your valves.

You should plug it as soon as you can. They make rubber "hats" for plugging vacuum sources.

As said above, it will give you a terrible air/fuel mix and make you run very lean.

Quite the opposite. It will make you run lean, so you won't be getting enough fuel to the cylinders.

So you have a breather on the intake side as well and still don't go lean? Does the A/F curve seem pretty good (the guage shows you just slightly rich from about 2000 rom up to at least 5000)?

the bottom line. plug the intake side. breather is bad for the environment, a catch can is prob better and cleaner.

the end lol
