Question Locate IAT sensor on 2002 Lancer

I'm having trouble finding my IAT sensor in my car, can someone tell me where it is? I also don't know if my car uses mass Air Flow/IAT combination, MAP/IAT combination or Air Flow Meter. How do I find out. My car is all stock, and I'm not sure if it makes any difference but I own the O-Z Rally Edition.

It uses a mass airflow sensor. I believe the IAT sensor is in the MAF on the stock setup. This also has nothing to do with forced induction so I'm moving this to engine tech. If anyone wants to correct/validate that educated guess, please feel free.

well i can tell u our IAT sensor is inside our wiring harness and which 'pin holes'...i have no idea.

i have a gut feeling u spent $10 on ebay for a 'ecu' chip that turned out to be a resistor taped to a piece of paper.....i argued with my friend it was just a resistor, he bought it, put it on his mustang, SWORE it was faster, and i beat him....he also lost 60 miles on his tank of gas cuz of it.

so my word of advice....just let it be....you'd have to cut the wires and splice the resistor into it for it to work....and still have no idea what wires it'd be.

theres my answer

I can get the pinout if you need it, but if it's a resistor mod then I'm refusing out of principle.
