i had to get me speedo replaced when i broke it putting on a reverse glow overlay... had 28K on it before... had 0 after

I THINK they wrote the old mileage down... lol...for a while I was telling people I just got the car and they believed me :P

 

There's nothing illegal as far as you're concerned, as long as you inform any potential buyers of the car and the smog shop of the correct mileage. If you look at a pink slip sales form, there's a box to check that says something like "odometer reads _______ but should read ______"
